The Dognapper is a 1934 animated short film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by United Artists. The film was directed by David Hand. Clarence Nash did the voices for both Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Pegleg Pete (of course) has kidnapped Minnie Mouse's prize pooch Fifi, Police officer Mickey Mouse and his trusty sidekick Donald Duck soon see Peg Leg Pete speed by in the car and they chase after him, Mickey driving a motorcycle and Donald riding in a sidecar.
This would be the only time that Mickey Mouse would be voiced by Clarence Nash, as Walt was in Europe and was unable to record as a result. The Dognapper was Donald's third film and was the first adventure story to feature both Mickey and Donald. The duck had appeared earlier that year in Mickey's Orphan's Benefit which had been the characters' first joint appearance.
